For gamers based in the Philippines, Gamehopper is now accepting pre-orders for the highly anticipated release of TEKKEN 6 for both the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360! This title will cap off what has been an amazing year for fighting games.

Gamers from all walks of life gathered together to enjoy games such as SOULCALIBUR IV, STREET FIGHTER IV and SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii respectively. On the Street Fighter IV front, at the start of the day both consoles had Street Fighter IV but due to popular demand for the Playstation 3 version, we focused the PS3 to SFIV and set the Xbox 360 to SC4. Many Pinoy gamers are really used to the Playstation controller and having Street Fighter IV on the PS3 was something that was asked from us at the booth, and we obliged accordingly. Today marked the SECOND DAY of Ozine FEST '09! (Pictures below!) For today we got much larger LCD TVs sent in by BRICO . We had a 47", 42" and a 37" LCD TV set up at the Gamehopper booth , and made a new setup for managing the crowd of people coming in. For the entire day we had the following games available for free play: - Street Fighter IV - Soulcalibur IV - Super Smash Brothers Brawl We had all three of the latest consoles (Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii) set up for free play, and all the games were available for at least two players. Unlike yesterday, Gamehopper now had Street Fighter IV for the Playstation 3 for the entire day, so many players who were requesting for Playstation controls for the SFIV were quite happy with it. Soulcalibur IV, despite being several months old, surprisingly still drew an incredible crowd; at times the game clearly surpassed Street Fighter IV in overall popularity! Gamehopper set up a great booth at Ozine Fest '09 , which started today and will be ongoing from Saturday to Sunday this week at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 2 . We took a lot of photos and helped out with managing the crowd of players who were there to try Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 games. These were the games that were highlighted at the Gamehopper booth today: - Resident Evil 5 (360) - Killzone 2 (PS3) - Street Fighter IV (PS3 / 360) - Dragon Ball Burst Limit (PS3) - Soulcalibur IV (360) - Final Fantasy XIII Trailer (PS3 / 360) Tomorrow we'll try to post a schedule for the games at the booth so people know which games will be on at what times. Playing games at the booth is COMPLETELY FREE and people just have to register with GAMEHOPPER to be given a chance to play either on the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360.
